I giggle and Scarlett looks at me with a smile on her face, "I can't wait 'til she goes to school and has some friends to play with," I say to Nate. I gasp and smile, "Maybe my sister and her kids can come down! She has a ten month old baby."

Nathan

"Yeah that would be nice she could meet her cousins or cousin." I say eating a chip.

I take another bite of my soup, "My sister has two kids. Max and Anna. Max is six and Anna is ten months old."

Nathan


I nod my head as I eat and Scarlett watches outside through the window as it rains.

After we all eat we get our check and pay it. We go to the car and drive home.

I yawn and turn my body to look at Scarlett in the back seat. She looks at me and reaches her hand out, "I love you, mamma!" she says. I smile and hold her hand, "I love you, too, sweetie," I say to her.

Nathan

We arrive home and go inside, Scarlett yawns. "Nap time." I say taking her into her room. I place in her crib after changing her into pj's and she falls asleep. "So what do you want to do?" I say to Cody while sitting on the couch.

I take off my shoes, "I dunno, what do you want to do?" I ask as I sit on the opposite side of the couch and rest my feet on his lap.

Nathan

"I have a idea, how about a nap?" I say laughing and leaning back so I can sleep.

I roll my eyes and smile. I crawl up on his lap and stretch out, "Night hun," I whisper before I fall asleep.

Nathan

"Night." I say kissing her head.

I open my eyes and look at the clock on the wall, 12:30 at night. I get up and go to Scarlett's room and peek in to see her sleeping soundly. I walk away and go out onto the porch to relax.

I sit up and yawn. I had felt Nate getting up and had heard him opening and closing the back door. I got up and went to the back porch, "Whatcha doing?" I asked as I sat down in a chair.

Nathan

"Just watching the sky." I say as I watch the stars. I have always found it interesting how the night works, it is magical.

I giggle, "No smoking?" I ask jokingly. I curl up in the chair and stare at the stars.

Nathan

"No not tonight." I say smiling. "You know each star is thousands a miles apart?" I say watching the stars.

I smile, "I was never big in science, so no," I say as I stand up and walk over to Nate. I lean on his left side and look up at the sky.

Nathan

I smile and cuddle her. "I was a science lover, only subject I ever liked." I say chuckling. "But stars were something I loved the most, I took classes that talked about them read books all the time." I say smiling.

I smile, "Why didn't you apply for a job in astronomy?" I asked him.

Nathan

"I never took it that serious and I never went to collage so I would need a degree in that, if I wanted to do that." I say leaning on the steps of the porch.

"Aah, never really paid attention to that either," I said to him, "I want Scarlett to go to college."

Nathan

"I do to, we need to start a collage fund when she is older then and hope she wants to go to." I say. I get up."I am going inside." I say as I go inside and sit down on the couch. I turn on the TV and watch 'The Soup'.

I stand outside for another minute before going inside. I lay in Nathan's lap and curiously look at the TV, "What the heck are you watching?"

Nathan

I laugh and answer her question. "It is a talk show..a funny one, they make it entertaining, trust me if it was boring I wouldn't watch it." I say smiling.

"Okay," I watch the TV show for alittle, "This doesn't ammuse me," I yawn and walk to our room, "Night!" I yelled to Nathan.

Nathan

I walk into our room and curl up next to Cody. "I love you." I say to her before falling asleep.

In the morning, I crawl out of bed and make breakfast. Scarlett wakes up a little bit later and I let her out of her crib. I notice that Nathan's still sleeping and I stand in the door way to our bedroom, "Nathan, time to wake up. You have a job interveiw today," I say to him.
