I get home and I got a white rose and chocolates for Cody, I open the door and walk in. "Cody, I am sorry that I said that, it slipped out and I don't know why." I say and set the box of chocolates on the night stand and white rose then leave after I say I love you to her.

I turned my head and smiled. I picked up the rose and took in the brilliant smell. I ran downstairs, right into Joseph's arms. "I forgive you," I whisper as I cry.

I smile a little and kiss her on the lips gently, "PDA!" My mother says and laughs, I roll my eyes and smile at Cody.

Cody

"You don't have to sleep on the couch tonight. I wasn't going to let you anyways." I hugged him again, and let the tear roll down my cheek and onto his shirt.

I laugh a little and hug her back, "I love you, Cody." I say and smile. The door bell rings, my mother gets it and she looks in shock. "Hey." My uncle says and my mom hugs him tightly, "we thought you got death row!" She says and starts to cry, he hugs her back. "Yup but my partner got me out." He says and they continue to hug each other.

Cody

I was grateful that my parents had left. I wiped away my tears, and smiled at Alice and Scarlett as they lectured the boys about their behavior. "They're just like me, and the boys are just like you." I looked at the door, and smiled at the man.

"That's never good!" My uncle says when Cody says the boys are like me, we laugh and we all smile. "Hey uncle Daniel." I say and he smiles, "hey, kid." He says and my mom smiles brightly. "So, how did you get out of death row?" She asks. "My partner came to the court when I was being charged and he shot the people there, we made a escape and left to my wife's house after that." He says and laughs a little. They sit down at the table and start talking, a lot. "That's my uncle Daniel, my mother and him are as close as brother an sister can get." I tell Cody.

Cody

"I was in Alcatraz." He says and smiles a little.

I shook my head, "Nope." I laughed, "I guess you're lucky then!"

He laughs a little and smiles, "I was there for three years, it was hell." He says
