I was at the club, as usual. I never really saw any new faces around here.

Joseph

We get to the safe house and relax, "so what does this Loa do?" My brother asks and we all turn around. I take a light bulb that is filled with Loa, I shatter it then stick the light bulb in front of his face. "Smell." I say and he breaths in the smoke that came out of the light bulb when I shattered it. "What is it suppose to do?" He asks again. "Make you feel like your walking on air, you'll feel good within twenty minutes, the wait is totally worth it." I say and laugh a little.

Cody

I tapped my fingers on the bedside table and sighed. "Time to call him." I picked up my phone, and dialed his number.

Joseph

I answer my phone when it rings, "hello." I say to Cody and sit down on the couch.

Cody

"Joseph Grant, where in the world are you? I have seen that explosion on the news and I am very unhappy. Get your a$$ over here and explain to me what the h*ell you were doing!" I screamed into the phone.

Joseph

"I was doing a job." I say and get annoyed she is yelling.

Cody

"Yeah, a job that could have killed you. Get over here, now. You have me worried sick!" I calmed down a little, and rubbed my sleepy eyes, "Joseph, I'm tired and I am not falling asleep alone. I haven't done it for almost two years, and I am not starting now. Please, come home."

Joseph

"I can't I am sorry but I have to lay low." I say and my father nods his head at me. "Shoot the man!" My brother yells and the guys laugh, I laugh too. "Don't shoot him, we need the information." I say and look at the man that we have tied up in a chair gagged and blind folded because we need information from him.

Cody

I sighed, "Expect to get a mouth full from me in the morning. Bye, Joseph." I hung up, and cried myself to sleep in the empty bed.

Joseph

I hang up and try to get information from the man, I pistol whip him and he starts talking.

Cody

I toss and turn, then stay awake on the bed, "He had to go out of the job. He had to interrogate a guy. He had to leave me here, alone, on this bed." I sniffled, then cried a little.

Joseph

I shoot the guy in the head when we are done interrogating him, I clean up and go home.

Cody

I shivered in the cold air. I deny want to get under the covers, then I would fall asleep. I sighed deeply, and looked at the clock, "One o'clock. Great."

Joseph

I get home and go inside, I go upstairs then go to Cody and I's room. "Hey." I say and smile at her.

Cody

I don't look at him, "Hey." I cross my arms, get off of the bed, walk to the balcony, and watch the night sky.

Joseph

"You do realize that I barely go to work, spend a lot of time with you and the kids but when I do go to work you get p!ssed because I can't come home because of work, right?" I ask and stand next to her.

Cody

"I got piss*ed because you blew up on the news." I sighed, and let's the warm, night air cover my body.

Joseph

"You should except that from the Mob, no more or less." I say and walk inside.

Cody

I walked back into the room, "Darling, I'm sorry." I leaned my head against the doorframe and stared. At the ground.

Joseph

"It's fine." I say and kiss her cheek, "I want to join me for a shower?" I ask and smile a little.

Cody

I ran my fingers through my hair, "I do not need one. But, okay." I smiled and kissed him on the lips.

Joseph

"Do you really think that we will be taking a shower?" I ask and laugh a little, I get some towels then start the shower and wait for it to warm up.

Cody

I laughed a little, then pushed him out of the bathroom as I undressed. I stepped into the foggy-glass shower, and shut the door with a towel wrapped around my bare body.

Joseph

I laugh and undress, I make sure to lock our bedroom door then I join her in the shower.

Cody

I moved my wet hair out of my face and pushed him against the wall. I clutched my towel to my body, and kissed him.
