"Fine." I said and sat on my bed, "Those two people down there aren't are aunt or uncle, Summer but they work for Dustin. We are assassins, Emerald but we kill for the good and not evil. Our mother died trying to safe us both." I stop and waited a while before continuing, "Our father is really Dustin and....we aren't only assassins but...vampires."

Summer

I couldn't describe how I felt right now. I wanted to cry, scream, and hurt. I did all of that together in one.
"You kept all of that from me and now your telling me?" I cried, "Xen I I I can't trust you anymore and will never." I ran out the room and begin to leave when my throat started hurting again then everything went dark.

I stood there with my mouth agape. "Y-you kept that from me? Al-all of that? What else are you keeping from me?" I asked.



[Ze butterflies have returned.]

Xen

"Nothing else, I promise." I said. I really met it this time, "I had to keep this a secret because we would get killed if we spoke even a word about our true selves."

Summer

I woke up in my room. I kick the covers off my body then turn to the two unknown people staring at me.
"Who are you really?" I ask, "Xen told me everything."
They told me who their names are and explain they are sent to watch over us.
"You didn't do a great job." I said, "But whatever...I'm going."
"Where?" The women ask.
"None of your business." I said and kept a tight hold on my neck as I jumped out the window an left to anywhere I felt safe.

[aw they are perfect for each other ]

I smiled and sat on his lap. I nuzzeled my head into his neck and closed my eyes, "I love you," I whispered.



[They are. ]

Xen

"I love you too." I whispered back.
A minute later Angus stumbled in with Jasper behind her.
"Your sister...she left...is she able to control herself?" She ask out of breath.
I shook my head but knew Summer will try not to hurt anyone.
"Could you do me a favor?" I ask Emerald, "Could you watch her at school for me. I don't share but only one class with her and she will get in fights if she wants to or has to. Also Angus make sure she doesn't...bite."
"Yes Xen, come on Jasper lets get the young...vampire." She said, laughing at the last sentence.

"Yea, I'll watch her," I said, still nuzzling him. I looked up, "So, where's Dusti-erm, your dad? Might aswell meet the parents!" I smiled.

Xen

"He probably is home." I said, "Let me check."
I grabbed my cellphone and called Dustin.
"What?" He ask.
"Could I come over for a sec?" I ask.
There was a long silence then I heard him sigh.
"Fine and wheres Summer."
I explain to him what happen. He didn't sound angry and allowed me to bring Emerald over to the hideout.
"He's home, lets go." I said, "Also I'll call Angus to tell her where to bring Summer, he wants to meet you and wants you to stay for dinner. You cool with that?" I ask as I made my way down the stairs.

"Yea that's fine." I waited a couple seconds before taking a step back, and jumping on Xen's back. I rested my chin on his shoulder and we continued to the hideout.

Xen

Once we made it to the hideout I open the door and walked in. I waited for Emerald to get off my back before introducing her.
"Hey this is Emerald." I said to Dustin.
"Nice to meet you, Emerald." He smiled.
I notice his eyes red and gave him a glare, letting him know to cut out with the hungriness.
"We have to wait for Summer before we eat." He said, as his eyes turn back to the green color.

Summer

I found myself laying on a tree branch when I felt the tree shack. I looked down to see Angus climbing up the tree. I groan and turn my back on her.
"Your father wants you at his house." She said.
I annoyingly jumped off the tree and was taken to the hideout. Once there I open the door to see Xen sitting on the couch.
"Oh great...look who's here...the twin brother who kept secrets from me!" I hissed.
Xen jumped up and face me angrily.
"Okay, lets eat." Dustin said, breaking us from or mini glare off.

I walked into the kitchen. The house was nice. I sat down in a chair next to Xen and began playing with my fingers. "So, what are we having?" I asked.



[Lol. I invisioned Dustin going all bloodthirsty and saying, "YOU!!" before ponching on Emerald. Why, I have no idea, but it made me laugh.]

Xen

"Salad, chicken and rolls." Dustin said.
"Sounds great to me." I said.
He started passing down the food.

Summer

None of this food satisfied my hunger. I took a bite of my roll but ran to the bathroom and begin to puke. After I came back to the table, I sat down and stared at the table.
"Do you have any...blood?" I ask.
Everyone stop eating and stared at me.
"Animal blood." Dustin said.
"okay." I muttered.
I walked in the kitchen and drank some animal blood but that made it even worse. I sat on the counter for a moment.
"What about...human blood?" I ask, returning back to the dinning room.
"No! we don't kill humans for blood." Dustin said.
I felt myself make a fist so I turn my back on all of them.
"I'll just watch television then." I said, throwing myself on to the couch.

[Lol that wouldn't be good ]

My eyes widened when Summer said human blood. I reached for Xen's hand and squeezed it.



[It would be very bad and heart renching for Xen!

[Yep! ]

Xen

"Its alright she won't harm you." I comfort Emerald, "I'll make sure she doesn't."

Summer

I kept peeking at Emerald as her and Xen talk. I had the urge to-wait! were friends not enemies.
"I'll be back." Xen told Emerald.
Dustin was in the other room talking to Angus so I decided to keep her...company. A evil smile spread across my face but vanish once I met eye contact with her.
"So Emerald...what blood type are you?" I ask, "Which doesn't matter...I enjoy all types of human blood."
I wasn't actually going to hurt her but I wanted to scare her.

I looked at Summer, "O-negative." I replied. I ate a little more of my food and occasionally looked at her.

Xen

I came back from the bathroom to see Summer bothering Emerald. I rushed over there and stood at the doorway of the dinning room with my arms cross.

Summer

I notice Xen and gave him a smile. I got up from the chair and slowly walked pass him. I smelt Emeralds blood from the living room. I try to control my thirst by coming back to the dinning room. Every one is sitting, eating and talking. I rush by and grabbed three different packs of the animal blood. I mix them together and tasted it. It tasted better then before. I went back to the dinning room and sat with the others. Listening to everything they talked about.

I didn't know what to talk about. My life? My cast? My brother? I decided to make small talk, "So, what do you want to talk about?" Emer, you're so stupid! I looked at Xen, 'Help me!' I mouthed.

Summer

I laughed at what Emerald said but suddenly stop when I received some glares. I rolled my eyes and glared at Xen.
"I bet your brother hasn't kept any secrets from you, has he Emerald?" I ask.
Xen slammed his fist on the table and I got out my seat.
"What dummy!" I yelled, "I'm not afraid of you or-."
I suddenly stop when I smelt blood from somewhere. Human blood at exact. I grabbed my jacket from the seat.

Xen

I watch Summers eyes turn dark red and she grabbed her jacket before running off. Dustin and the others went to get her while me an Emerald sat in the living room.
"Want to play monopoly?" I ask, grabbing the board off the shelf.

"Sure!" I pushed my hand onto the couch to sit down, only to prick my finger on something sharp. "Ow..." I teeny bead of blood formed where the object pricked me. I got up, went to the kitchen, and grabbed a napkin.



[Now let's see how Xen reacts to Emerald's blood. ]

[-evil laugh- yes, lets ]

Xen

Emerald started bleeding a tiny bit of blood. My heart begin to race and I could feel myself wanting to hurt her. I try to control myself as I followed her to the kitchen.
"Here I'll help you." I said.
My heart race even faster as I helped her.
"You probably should keep that napkin on for a while." I told her.
I rushed back to the living room and set the board game up then waited for Emerald.

I wrapped my finger in a clean napkin. I walked into the living room and played monopoly with him. I looked up for a moment, "Do you think Summer or Dustin would ever bite me?" I asked. He landed on my property, and I happily collected the last of his money. "I win! Ha-ha!"



[Grrr...gotta leave in sixteen minutes. Let the countdown begin...]

Xen

"Dustin my dad will never hurt you but Summer..." I trailed off for a moment, "She might but that's only when she's angry or hungry."
Emerald won the game and I gave her a pout face but quickly smiled.
"Do you still want to watch her for me at school?" I ask.

"Yea. I don't mind. But if she eats me, I'm blaming you." I laugh and throw the fake money at him. We end up chasing each other through the house, but him being a vampire, was able to catch me multiple times.



[5... ]

Xen

"Caught you again." I smiled.
After a while we both sat on the couch and I put a movie in for us to watch. I pop us some popcorn and sat on the couch.

Summer

Dustin brought me back to the hideout and I walked in. I saw Xen and Emerald watching a movie. I sat beside Emerald on the couch and grabbed a handful of popcorn before putting animal blood all over it and fell asleep on the couch.

[No! ]

I laid my head in Xen's lap and watched the TV, "I don't know how you vampires can't drink blood." I said. I made a face at Summer when she put the blood on the popcorn.



[TWO. . Bye bye!]

Summer

"Ha! Ha! your to funny." I said and made a face back at her. I finish my popcorn and got up from the couch.
"I'm going upstairs." I said and ran upstairs.

Xen

"Summer I have a feeling is a 'level 5 vampire' meaning she'll have to be watch twenty-four seven because those are the most dangerous ones. I am not a 'level 5 vampire' so I'm able to control my thirst. Just be careful what you say and do around her. Dustin also will be watching her so if she does attack then he'll be able to help." I said to Emerald.
