**Teens in the City** OPEN JOIN! RULES UPDATED!

I thought of Dad's last "girlfriend", Betty. The one who smelled like rotten eggs who he pulled off the street because he wanted to sculpt her face. He broke up with her as soon as he had finished. "If you knew my father...." I didn't know where to go with that sentence, so I changed the subject. "Why, where do you live?"

~Sky~

"Worst place dad could afford... Gangs pretty much make themselves at home in our houses..."

-Farrah-
"Ugh, that sucks. If you ever need to get out of there for awhile, you could come visit me. I'll talk to you later, I should probably get to class." I grab a pen from the shelf of my locker, close it, and head off to my first class.

~Sky~

"Same," I smiled and grabbed what ever I needed for my class...

[I'm home schooled to I know nothing about normal school!!!]

----Tamera----
I went to my French class, and sat down. Only a few minutes and the bell for class to start would ring. I got out my homework and turned it in.

----Jess----
I stood up in the front of the class, while the teacher forced me to introduce myself. "Hi, my name is Jess, and I hope to become friends with some of you." I introduce myself. Then, the teacher tells me where to sit.

----Francis----
My first period is math, so I sat down where the teacher told me to.
I hope this class ends soon...

I looked at this Jess kid and thought, "Wow that must've been embarrasing!" I opened my book to the right pge and rubbed my eyes, I was tired.

Summer

I got to math class. I flip my hair and after my teacher greeted me I looked for a seat.
"Move. my seat." I said to a girl but she wouldn't budge, "MOVE!"
She jumped out the seat and race to the back of the class. I laid my backpack down beside my chair before putting my math book on the desk. Class was about to begin when I notice I'm sitting beside Francis. I tapped him on the shoulder.
"Hey Francis." I smiled.

-Farrah-
I made it into Biology with plenty of time before the bell. I smile at the new kid, Jess, as he sits down. It must be hard coming to a new school and having to make all new friends. I think. I arrange my textbook and notebook on my desk and sigh. Biology. Blargh.

~Sky~

I hated the way people did everything Summer ordered them to do...

I look at the girl next to me and smile, I send her a note that says, "Hey I'm Kate!"

[Who's the girl next to you?]

[uh wait Farrah]

Blake

Once I got in class my teacher yelled at me for skateboarding. I just shrugged after she finish and grabbed a seat. I brought my history book out then leaned in my chair.

----Jess----
I opened up my book to the page that we were to read and take notes. I open up my bag to start taking notes, and start jotting down notes like crazy. I finish reading the page, and reread it to see if there was anything I missed.

----Tamera----
"'Bonjour, comment allez-vous aujourd'hui?' means 'Hello, how are you today?' Repeat it with me." The class repeated it with her. Tamera took notes in her kitten notebook.

----Francis----
"Hello Summer." I smile at her. "How are you?"

-Farrah-
I quickly read the scrap of paper the girl next to me had sent my way. Finally! Someone else who understands the importance of being friendly! I scribble back, Hi Kate! I'm Farrah!

I smile, I didn't expect her to reply, I wrote back, Hi, Do you like biology? Cause I sure don't

Summer

"Great." I smiled. I suddenly kept feeling someone poking my neck. I turn to see my twin brother laughing silently along with the other popular boys. I gave him a death glare.
"Stop it stupid." I growled. I flipped my hair in his face which made him quit. "I'm so happy we share a math class together." I said to Francis.

----Francis----
"Same here. I can't wait to go on the walk tonight." I said. I really hope she doesn't ditch me tonight...

~Sky~

I felt my eyes slowly closing and before I knew it I was asleep....

-Farrah-
UGH. No. I write back and pass the note sneakily back to Kate so that the teacher cannot see.

-Farrah-
After Biology, I leave school for a dentist appointment and decide that since I have a valid excuse, there is no real point in coming back immediately. I dawdle around the city, flitting into shops here and there with my clean, shiny teeth.

-Alan-
I sit in all my Junior classes, wishing I had some friends who were Juniors.

Summer

"I can't wait either." I smiled. Excitement filled me and for once I actually enjoyed talking to a non popular. I just hope he isn't like the other guys I dated. I glance over at Ryan who kept making jokes about football. Then I glance at the other guys I use to date also. All of them are jerks and apparently I enjoy hanging with them or its probably because I'm being notice by people. I sigh and face the board. A tear slipped as I became even more bored. Everyone has their opinions about me which is fine because I want them to think of me the way they do instead of who I really am. I shot a glare at one of the girls who looked up at me.
Please start the class I thought as I laid my head in my arms.

----Jess----
I start taking more notes as the teacher is giving us our homework: Bring in a plant to experiment on.
What the heck?! Why are we experimenting on PLANTS!?
Then, I got an idea...

----Francis----
"Summer? Is something wrong?" I asked, hoping she wouldn't get angry. "Do you need to go out into the hall for a second?" I started to grow concerned.

Summer

I looked up at the board and turn my back for a moment trying to calm myself before talking to Francis. I try not to shed a tear as I got up from my chair.
"No um I yeah need to step in the hall...uh ugh." I said. My brother notice me get up and gave me a glare. I just ignored him and grabbed my things. What happen last night kept bothering me and I had to do something to keep my mind off of it. My whole body begin to shake and I felt some more tears pour. No! the queen bee can't cry. Some people stared at me then others laugh. I shook my head and covered my face while running out the classroom.

I rolled my eyes as I watch Summer run out the room.
