Nathan

I run into the hospital and look at the doctor. "She died in the ambulance but they revived her, we are stabilizing her now." He says as he goes to the hospital room Cody is in. I fall to the floor and cry as I yell at the world.

The doctors leave the room. I'm lying in bed with several blood bags hooked up to me and a air tube on my nose. The doctor tells Nathan he could see me, and I slowly open my eyes.

Nathan

I come running into Cody's room and see her hooked up to multiple machines. I walk up to her and hold her hand tightly, "I love you Cody, you will be alright." I say to her and tears form in my eyes then I just let them slide down my face.I kneel by her bedside and start to pray.Praying is something I have never done before for someone or anything ever in my life.

I weakly smile. I brush my hand across his cheek, "I love you, Nathan," I say in a whispery voice.

Nathan

"I can't lose you now Cody, I love you too much to let you go." I say as I cry and lay my head on the bedside as I kneel on the floor. I pray more as I hold her hand in mine, I look her in the eyes and smile at her, my thoughts just pounding through my head.

I weakly laugh, "I'm still here." I start coughing and I grip my aching chest.

Nathan

I watch as she coughs, I rub her hand trying to comfort her. "Never scare me like that again,okay." I say after she is done coughing.

I smile, "I'm sorry. I didn't know it would happen." I look at the machine that read my heartbeat and frowned, "My heartbeat is low."

Nathan

"Don't think about that, I just want to be with you and please don't be sorry." I say and kiss her on the lips.

I start crying, "Nathan, they said I could be in the hospital for months!" I couldn't lift up my arms, so I just let the tears roll off my face.

Nathan

"It doesn't matter how long your here just if you get the right treatment." I say wiping her tears away for her. "I will bring the triplets and Scarlett every day and we will be right here for you the whole time." I say to her.

I smile, "Okay." Clay, Nathan's parent's, Kat, and Kimmy suddenly come bursting through the door. I look at them, "Hey."

Nathan

"God did you guys forget how to knock?" I say laughing, "nope." They say at the same time. "Are you alright?" Kat asks while holding Hope.

I start to feel tired, "Nathan, you tellthem the stor..." I pass out and fall into a deep sleep, the heart measuring machine still happily beeping steady.

Nathan

I tell them everything that went on and they all listen carefully. I sit in the chair and watch Cody as she sleeps after I talked to them.

I peek my eyes open and wince as a needle moves in my arm. I look at Nathan, "I'm a little hungry."

Nathan

"What do you want?" I ask as I get up and smile.

I shrugged, "Anything that tastes good." I cough and nervously glance at the heart machine. I take a deep breath in, "And some water."

Nathan

I add some water and leave to go get food for Cody. I come back a few minutes later with a salad and spaghetti, "here you go." I say setting the tray down on the moving table.

I take a quick swig from the water before I could cough. I smile and sit up with much difficulty, "Thanks babe." I look at all the people gathered in my room, "So, what did you guys do when I was put into the ambulance. I know Nathan followed it."

Nathan

"We got the triplets and Scarlett they are in the nursery right now." My father says, I look at him shocked he never talks to anyone.

I smile, "Can you bring Scarlett in here? I was most worried about her." I finished eating the spaghetti and started on the salad.

Nathan

My father gets up and brings in Scarlett. "Mommy!" Scarlett says smiling and gets up on the bed then hugs Cody.

I hug her tiny body, "Hey princess." I kiss her head, "Have you been a good girl while mommy was gone?"

Nathan

"Yeah!" She says smiling. "Me and grandma made a cake then we colored!" She says smiling and my mother smiles too. "She is very sweet and a good cook." My mother says. "I almost forgot Nathan some of the family is coming Joe, Betty, Sam, Diamond and Hanna." She says smiling, "all of our cousins thats nice." I say laughing.
