Cody

"If you dare lay a hand on me while your in this state, I will personally murder you myself," I freshen as I look at him in the rearveiw mirror.

Joseph

"I thought you were someone else." I mumble and see blood coming out of my mouth, "what the hell?"I say and touch the inside of my mouth.

Cody

"You drank too much and it dried your mouth. Ever heard of dehydration?" I say and stop at a red light.

Joseph

"Yeah, I just have never had it happen." I say and lay back down.

Cody

"You're going to be sleeping in the guest bedroom. I am not going to look like that one day ever again," I said and pressed the gas peddle.

Joseph

"I am not going to hurt you, I am sober." I say and close my eyes.

Cody

"You're still drunk and I know it, Joseph," I say and make a sharp turn.

Joseph

"Why can't you trust me?" I ask and look her in the eyes.

Cody

I slam my foot on the brake in an empty parking lot. I sighed, "No all of those bruises went away, Joseph. I still had one on my neck that I would always cover up. I do trust you, but I do not want to get beat up again." I take off again, and don't say a word.

Joseph

A tear slips my eyes and I feel horrible for hurting Cody, "drop me off somewhere, please." I say and put on my jacket.

Cody

"No," I say simply.

Joseph

"Just please, I want to be alone right now." I say and look at her.

Cody

"No," I restated. I drove a litle faster as we got on the freeway. I had decided to take the long way home.

Joseph

I sigh and watch out the window.

Cody

I knew I was irritating him, so I tensed up even more.

Joseph

"Please?" I ask and continue to look out the window.

Cody

"No, stop asking," I said calmly.

Joseph

I get mad and take out my knife, I start cutting my wrists not caring if she sees it.

Cody

I sighed, "Joseph, stop it, you know I hate it whenever you do that."

Joseph

"Then let me go." I say stubbornly and continue to cut.

Cody

"No, you'll take out your anger on someone else who's innocent," I say and drive past a farm.

Joseph

"No I won't." I say and cut even deeper, you can see the muscle in my arm now but I continue to cut.

Cody

I started to reach back, trying to get the knife away from himself. I looked away from the road, and a car collided with us, sending the knife flying and plunging straight into my shoulder. I stared wide-eyed at it.

Joseph

I pull the knife out of her and unbuckle her, I get out of the car and get her out. Someone calls a ambulance and they come within a minute.

Cody

I stood up, "I don't need medical attention." I ripped my jacket and wrapped it around the wound.
