"Baby store, when do you want to leave?" I ask.

"We could go now," I offer.

We leave to go to the Baby store and pick stuff out.

"Do you like this style of crib?" I ask pointing to a white and blue one.

"No, I was thinking more of a dark wood crib to go with the theme," I said to him. We approach a crib that already has the Jungle theme, "Aww! This is adorable!" I say.

Nathan

"Ok, do you want this one or keep looking?" I ask Cody.

[Hi!I was gone for way too long! ]

"Hmm, what about ladybugs?" I ask as another crib catches my eye.

Nathan

"Ladybugs, that's a good idea." I say looking at the crib she is looking at. "Can we find the whole set here?" I ask holding Scarlett, who is crying loudly. I rock her back and forth.

"I think so," I look at the tag, $599, "We're so lucky my parents planned to send me to Vale," I said.

Nathan

"Yeah we are." I say.

We walk around the store for a while more and finally get all of the stuff for the room. "How much?" I ask as the cashier rings the stuff up.

"1,893.99, but Cody gets the best friend discount, so it's only 1,690," the cashier says. I jump up and down and give her a hug, "Nate this is my friend I was talking about!" she waves and touches Scarlett's hand, "And who is this?" she asked.

Nathan

"This is Scarlett, our daughter." I say waving back and smiling. "I will pay for half, Cody." I say handing her money.

"Aww, she's so adorable!" Alice says while taking the cash, "So, all that leaves is...$845." i dig around in my purse and hand her my credit card. She rings it up and sticks everything on a large cart and wheels it to our car, "How's life in the District?" Alice asks.

Nathan

"Nice, we moved a little away from District so we are on the edge it is safer." I say opening the trunk of the car."So how long have you guys known each other?" I ask securing Scarlett in her car seat.

"Since we were, like, eight," Alice says, "We would always prance around in your little tutus and Converse and pretend we ruled the park." she laughed and so did I, "Yea, and we'd throw water balloons at any kid who tried to get inside the jungle gym," I smile and hug Alice goodbye.

Nathan

I smile and wave goodbye.

We arrive home and set up the room. "Where are instructions?" I ask sitting on the floor trying to figure how to put together the crib. I rummage around the pile of things that were in the box and find the instructions. "Found it!" I say to Cody. I look at the paper and think it is pretty simple.

It takes a little bit but I figure it out. "Ok, I think I am damn superman now." I say to Cody while showing her the crib.

I shake it a bit to make sure it's stable, "Great job, Superman," I laugh. I walk over to Scarlett who is sitting in her carrier watching TV, "Hey there, Scarlett, you have a place to sleep now! And you have Mr. Superman to thank for!" I say as I tickle her.

Nathan

Scarlett laughs as Cody tickles her and I smile. "Now all we need is jobs or just me, are you going to look for a new one?" I ask sitting on the couch.

"Yea. Or I could be a stay at home mom, considering with the money I have," I say as I unfold Scarlett's conforter.

Nathan

"That sounds like a good idea, I guess for the time being I can play my guitar for money until I get a job."I say helping Cody set the rest of the crib up.

"Okay, that's done. What's next?" I ask as I look around the almost-completely furnished room.

Nathan

"Just hanging up her clothes and hanging the two shelves, that's it." I say opening up the box with the shelves in them.
