A woman walked into the shop. She must be the new Mechanic.
"Can I help you?" I walked into the room she was standing in.

Cody

I turned around,"Yeah, I'm Cody."

"So! What can I help you with?" I said impatiently.

Cody

I started getting annoyed,"I'm the new mechanic, do you want to do my work for me?"

"I already do all the work," I muttered to myself.

Cody

I glared at her, "Well you clearly are doing a great job, since this car is in such good shape!" I rolled my eyes and grabbed my water bottle. Why the heck did I apply if I wasn't needed? This chicks obviously has everything under control.

"Maybe I haven't started on it yet! I've kinda been bizzy on a bike!" I faked a smiled.

Cody

"Listen, chick, I don't want a fight to break out here. So if you will so kindly shut up and leave me alone, I think we'll get along just great!" I wasn't trying to be rude or mean, but this girl was getting on my nerves.

"FINE! But you could have just said you where a mechanic..." I walked over to the bike I was originally working on.

Cody

I sighed, "Listen, I'm sorry. I almost starved two days ago, and yesterday my house was almost burglarized. I'm a little stressed right now. And, yes, I am the new mechanic." I set my water bottle down and popped the hood of the car open. I looked to see if any problems were visible, and grabbed a flashlight.

"It's ok!"

Cody

"Awesome," I plugged a wire back into it's socket, and closed the hood. "So, what's your name, chick? Where you from?" Ah, great, my questioning side's kicking in.

"Well it'd be nice if you STOPPED calling me chick, but it's Nick! I've lived here all me life! You?"

Cody

"I'm from Bridgeport. Long story short, I hated my parents and the big city. Where are the keys for this car?" I knew it was going to start. Nothing else was wrong.

"Ok..." I pointed over to a bunch of keys on a table.
"It'll be somewhere in there..."

Cody

I sorted through some keys and finaly found the right one. "Here goes nothing," I put the key into the ignition. The car started right up. I laughed and revved the engine. Shutting the car off, I stood back and thought about colors and rims for the clunker.

((I am so sorry for everything that I've been missing. I have to try and get on top of a lot of things as of late so I don't think that Brandi or Braiden will be popping in as often due to it all and for that I am truly sorry.

I sit on my couch and flip through the channels. When someone knocks on my door. Who in the hell is it at this time? I think to myself. I peek through the peep hole to see Katherine and someone else. Katherine? What could she possibly want? I open the door and say. "Why are you here?" I say eye balling her. "I need to stay here for awhile with my friend if you don't mind?" She says bitterly. "Panties in a bunch? you can stay here but who is this?" I say looking at the women. She looks a little rough on the edges but she is very attractive. "This is Brandi and no my damn panties are not in a bunch." Katherine says fuming. "I see you have not gotten over what happened?" "No! I have not this is the very last place I want to be is here with you, now if you don't mind I am going to the guest room!" She says pushing her way in and stomping up the stairs. "Sorry about that she is a little hotheaded when we talk about what happened, you can stay in my room tonight over there." I say pointing to my room. I take their suitcases and put them by the couch and watch TV.

Katherine

I flop onto the bed and sigh I can't believe I am actually here with Nathan. I pull out my laptop and plug in my headphones to listen to music. Scrolling through my playlist I come across my favorite song Die For You, it became my favorite song right after my mother died. Tears well up in my eyes as the song plays.

The song continues to play and I cry like a small child no one can ever bring my mother back after what Nathan did. He was drunk driving and hit my mother killing her instantly, I can never forgive him for that. Later on we came across each other when we were both in the same gang. He tried to apologize but I never could forgive him. He may be my friend but I will never forgive him for what he did.

I walk home from the shop since there wasn't any customers. I stuck my hands in my pockets and began to sing, quite loudly.

I tried to save you, but let you drink the pain.

A final song now we both know, so I'm not givin' up, won't let you suffocate me.

I stopped when I came to a occupied house, but I stopped a little late and I was pretty sure they heard me.

I sit on my bed watching the music video for Rebel Love Song. "Still a better love story then Twilight." I mumble to myself.

I wish I could have a love like that, a rebel love. I sigh thinking about that then close my laptop and lay down.
