Neal

I get to the place, and knock on the guys door. He answers, and I shoot him once in the head, he falls dead, and I walk back to Cody's place after putting my gun back in the holster.

Cody

I stop singing, and I quickly put away the guitar. I smiled whenever he walked in, and I stood up. I walked over to him, and slowly snaked my arms around his hips, but stopped whenever I hit the handle of a metal thing. I noticed a gun, and I gasped. "Wh-why do you have a gun, Neal?"

Neal

"I always carry one with me," I tell her, I'm not lying either. I always have a gun, either in a suitcase, in it's holster right on my side, under my pillow or in my car. This gun goes where I go, and has been since I was sixteen.

Cody

"Hopefully you can shoot it, if not then it's useless," I say, and take off his holster. I walk upstairs and set it in his suitcase, then come back downstairs. I sat on the couch, and continued to drink my coffee as I wathced TV.

Neal

I sit next to her on the couch after putting my leather jacket on a coat rack, I send an Email to my father saying it's done. I close my laptop, and set it on the coffee table. I move Cody's coffee out of her hands, and set it on the coffee table too. I sit her on my lap and kiss her on the lips gently.

Cody

I pulled away, and crossed my arms. "Do you think you can just walk off somewhere for an hour without telling me where you're going, then come home with a gun and make everything better with a kiss?" I asked.

[I think this is about the seventh time I've asked this, but wanna do a four-year time skip? I got a little inspired for Cody's job from the movie Burlesque.]

Neal

"Uh, no," I say and look at her. "I was doing something for my father," I tell her.

{Sure, we can do that.}

Cody

"Sure," I say, and sigh. I got off of his lap, and sat next to him. I continued to drink my coffee.

[I'll give you some time to find a picture for Neal and whoever else. And sorry for not getting on sooner. I literally threw a tantrum this morning and refused to go to the beach. My mother took our internet modum with her, so I couldn't get on. Oh, and here's Cody afetr the time skip.]

Cody

Neal

"Here, if you don't believe me," I say and pull out my wallet then throw a wad of six thousand dollars on the coffee table, "I made that just earlier for doing a job for my father," I tell her and get up, I put my wallet back into my back pocket then walk out of the house. I start to smoke a cigarette, I hate it when people don't believe me. Vlad never believed me so now it kinda bothers me when someone doesn't believe me.

Cody

I got up, and walked out. "I'm sorry, Neal. I was just a little upset that you went out so suddenly. I didn't know it was your job," I say, and kiss his cheek.

Neal

"Just have faith in me, I don't lie to people who I love, Cody," I say and take a drag off my cigarette after kissing her on the forehead.

Cody

"Okay," I say and smile.

It's been roughly three years since I moved to California and lost contact with Neal. I still had his picture taped to my vanity at the Burlesque Club I worked at. I finished curling my hair, and I added the last touches to my makeup. I smiled, and got ready to do my number.

Neal

Over the past three years I've been moving a lot because of my job, I work as a Federal Body Guard now and I enjoy it very much. Right now I'm in Arizona guarding the newly elected president. I stand next to the stage the president is on as he gives a speech, and keep still as I watch the people around.

Cody

I finish the number, and go backstage. I looked at the picture of Neal, and sighed. "I wish you could see me now," I whispered, and looked at my hands. I was finished for the day.

Neal

The president finishes, and we escort him to his limo after. I get into my car with another body guard and we follow the limo, all the way to California.

Cody

I changed, and went outside. I soaked in the warm night air, and smiled as I got into my car. It wasn't anything special. I started to drive to my apartment, anticipating what new number I would be doing tomorrow. I heard the preident was in town.

Neal

We get to California and the president stays at a hotel here, a high class one, of course. We escort him to his room. I stand guard at the front door with another guard while the other two guard the porch door.

Cody

I changed into my pajamas, and crawled into my bed. I looked at the picture I had of me and Neal on my nightstand, and smiled. "Goodnight, Neal," I say, and fall asleep.

Neal

Morning dawns, very slowly for me at least. I've been standing at this door now all night. I'm not tired one bit but I could use a good cup of black coffee and something to eat.

Cody

I get up in the morning, and drive to the club. I change, and start to go over the numbers I'm doing. "Ladies, I want you to do your best. The president is in town, and you never know if he'll drop by," the manager, Tess, says. I smiled, and continued to practice.

Neal

We go over to the Burlesque Club since we're on break. We walk in, and are much more relaxed then usual. I take a seat with my friends, and we talk a little as we wait for the show to start.

Cody

I get changed, and we get behind the curtain. Everyone lip synced here, but I had actual talent. I think someone said I sang like Christina Aguilera or something. The curtain was raised, and we started, but something happened with the audio, and it cut off. They started to lower the giant curtain, but I went to center stage, and took a deep breath. I started to sing, and we went on with the show.

Neal

We watch, and I smile as I watch. "She sure does look like that girl in the picture you have in your wallet," My friend whispers in my ear, I nod my head and we continue to watch.

Cody

I wink at the group of guys smiling at me, and I continue to sing. I end the song, and the curtain drops. We go back stage, and prepare for the next preformance.

Neal

"That's her name, Cody Varga!" My friend says, and I laugh a little, "yes, you remembered," I say and he smiles like a dork, we all laugh and continue to talk.
