"Once or twice but not recently." I say and smile.

Makenna

"I love how blue they are," I say and wink at him. I pushed them onto my face, and began to eat.

Andrew

I smile and continue to eat, my phone goes off and I answer it. I talk to my mother as I eat, she rambles on about how I need to come down and spend more time with her.

Makenna

I smirked a little, "Is that your mom? I can hear her from here."

Mackenzi

I rubbed my neck, "Uh, I'll tell you there." I hung up, and walked to his house quickly. I knocked on the door, and waited for an answer.

Andrew

I nod my head and I put my face in my hand, my mother continues on about how I also need to come and work out her bills for her since she is in extreme debt.

Dane

I answer the door and let her in.

Mackenzi

I nervously played with the end of my sweater sleeve, and I sat down in a chair. "Is there some place we can talk alone?" I ask and glance at the other two guys staring at me.

Dane

I throw a pillow at them and they sigh, "why can't we stay?" Colten asks, "because you need to leave anyways." I tell them and they get up then leave the house.

Mackenzi

I take a deep breath, "Dane, if I told you I was pregnant, what would you do?" I looked at him with my scared green eyes.

Dane

"Well, I would be happy and be there for you, why are you?" I ask and look her in the eyes.

Mackenzi

I looked at my hands, and nodded my head slowly. "I was going to keep it a secret. I thought you would leave me because I was pregnant," I say.

Dane

"That would have made me mad if you kept the pregnancy a secret." I tell her

Mackenzi

"I know," I say and look up at him, "I'm sorry."

Dane

"It's fine." I say and kiss her on the cheek, I hear laughs and I get up. I see Colten and his friend laughing at me, "aw look, he has a sensitive side!" Colten says. "Yeah, he can become a big snuggle bear!" His friend says and they laugh hard. "Will you two just shut up and leave?" I ask and they shake their heads no. "I will come out there and beat you two pulp if you don't leave." I tell them, they take off and the dust on the ground hasn't even settled they were moving so fast, I laugh and sit back down.

Mackenzi

"Dane, I am actually scared to have a kid. I mean, I know nothing about parenting! In fact, I freeze up whenever I have to care for a child! I might want one, but I don't think I can handle the responsibly," I say to him and my face flushes red as the baby kicked.

Dane

I lock up when she says that but I quickly unlock myself and look her in the eyes, "do you want to keep the baby?" I ask

Mackenzi

"I don't know," I admit and shift around in the chair.

Dane

I quietly get up and get my jacket, I put it on and walk out the door without uttering a single word. I walk down the street as I hold back a large well of tears in my eyes.

Mackenzi

I rubbed my temples, and walke put of the house without my jacket. I ignored the stinging cold, and grabbed Dane by the sholder, "Don't leave me alone. I'll keep the baby, but I'll be a terrible mother."

Dane

I swat her hand off my shoulder and continue to walk as tears slip my eyes and go down my cheek. My phone rings and I answer it, it is the orphanage agency, my wife gave up our kids and now I can't get them back. The lady tells me that I can't my kids back and we hang up, I sniffle and throw my phone on the ground, I kick it as I walk.

Mackenzi

I shiver, and walk behind him, "Dane, listen to me! I'll keep the baby, okay? I would be happy to raise a family with you." I sat down, and rubbed my ice-cold hands.

Dane

"Nah, it's fine go ahead and give up my only kid, I already lost my other three and my ex aborted the fourth, go ahead because it doesn't matter anymore!" I say and continue to walk, I pick up the phone and throw it again.

Mackenzi

"Dane, stop." I stood up, and tightly grabbed his arm, "I said I was not going to give up this child. I can learn like Maci's learning." I ripped away my hand, and held in my other. It was a shade of blue, and I tried to move it with no luck.

Dane

I take off my jacket and put it on her, I take off my gloves then put them on her hands. I lean on a wall and try to calm down.

Mackenzi

I walked over to him, "Dane, I'm just frightened. What if I can't raise a child?"

Dane

"Anyone can raise a kid, you just have to be willing to and learn how to." I tell her and wipe away my almost frozen tears. "I had a kid when I was fifteen, Mackenzi, I was only fifteen, had to go to school, work full time at a store and support the child." I tell her and look her in the eyes. "Damn mother just packed and left six hours after she gave birth." I say
