Mackenzi

I gave him a hug, "I will never leave you, Dane." I stopped hugging him, "I had an abortion whenever I was sixteen. It crushed the father, and I got beat for it by my father."

Dane

"It's wrong to do that, could have killed the person to cure cancer or change someone's else life, that baby had a purpose." I tell her and look her in the eyes. "My daughter Faith was eight when she died, she got diagnosed with cancer, she insisted upon going to school even though she had no hair, got bullied and she was weakening, she wanted to show all the little girls like her that even though you are different you can still be cool and fun." I say and try not to cry. "She taught me so much, she taught me how to have fun despite the situation, how to be yourself and so much more." I tell her and start to cry.

Mackenzi

"If I kept the baby, I would have died," I said quietly, and hugged him once more.

Dane

"Oh, sorry." I say and hug her back, I pull out my wallet and show her a picture of Faith and I at the water park in Florida.

Mackenzi

I smiled, "She's very pretty." I didn't want to tell him that there was a big chance of me not making it through the birth. He would be in worse shape than he is now. I pushed away that tought, and continued to smile.

Dane

I nod my head and put away the picture, "today's her birthday, in fact that's why I am here." I tell her and smile a little.

Mackenzi

"How old would she be? I mean, you're only twenty-five," I asked him.

Dane

"She would be ten." I tell her and smile a little.

Mackenzi

"My son would have been four a month ago," I say and rub the underneath of my eye. I was trying so hard not to cry.

Dane

I hug her and kiss her on the top of the head, "things happen for a reason." I say and continue to hug her.

Mackenzi

I nodded my head, and kissed his shoulder. I hugged him back, "Dane, there's a big chance I might not make it through the birth."

Dane

I hold back tears and hug her tightly, I don't know what to say or do so I just hug her.

Mackenzi

"Please, don't think about it," I say and hug him tightly. I let my tears fall, and they started to soak up his sleeve.

Dane

"Okay." I say quietly and kiss her gently on the lips.

Mackenzi

I kissed him back, and pulled away after awhile, "Just, forget that I said anything."

Dane

"I'll try." I say and smile a little.

Mackenzi

"I..I want to have a boy," I say and smile a little.

Dane

I smile, "I do too." I say.

Mackenzi

I wiped my eye again, "I was planning on naming my son Preston. I can tell you the entire story a different time if you want."

Dane

I nod my head and Colten runs over to us, "Andrew has been in a accident and his truck is in the water, the fire department is trying to get him out along with his truck but they can't." He says and catches his breath.

Makenna

I ran to the place of the accident, having gotten a call from the police department. I took off my shoes, my jacket, and tied up my hair. I dived into the deadly freezing water, much to the department's horror. I felt around the truck for the door handle, and ripped it open. I pulled him to the surface, swam ashore, and started to preform CPR on him. I rejected the coat they gave me, and wrapped him up instead. "Officer Bishop, you're going to get frostbite, or hyporthermia." I snapped my head towards the other officer, "A life of a loved one is more important than mine, dammit!"

Mackenzi

"What?!" I screamed at Colten. "Is this some kind of sick joke?!"

Dane

"No, your sister got the call." He says and we go to the scene.

Andrew

I feel the land and try to breath air, I hear loud sirens and feel the touch of Makenna. I start coughing up water and slowly open my eyes.

Makenna

"Oh! Oh my Lord!" I smiled, and kissed his forehead, "Andrew, you're alive!" I touched his cheek with my deathly cold hands, and started to cry a little, "You need to be more careful. It was so cold in the lake."

Mackenzi

I clutch the four, thick blankets, and ran to Makenna and Andrew. "Here," I said simply. I wrapped them all around Andrew, and one around Makenna, which she pushed away and ordered me to put it on him.

Andrew

"The ice cracked under my truck." I tell her and look to see my truck under the ice, I get up and look down the hole. "Can you all please get my truck, it has something in there that is extremely important." I tell the department, they move us out of the way and work on getting my truck.

Makenna

I studied the hole, and smirked. I dived once more, and moved the ice rocks away from his tires. The truck started to rise, and I bobbed to the surface. I blacked out, and started to float on the surface of the water.

Mackenzi

I screamed, and started yelling at the police officers to get Makenna out of the water. The truck was dripping on the snow-covered ground, out of the water.
