Evelyn

I look up to see Dane. "Hey, i'm fine." I said and Hunter puts his arm around me.

Dane

Ember walks over and I wrap my arms around her waist, "this my girlfriend Ember." I say and smile.

Evelyn

I scoot anlittle away from Hunter so he'll get his arm off of me. I scoot back over and sit back beside him then smile. "This is my friend Hunter." I said.

Dane

"Hi." I say to Hunter and smile a little. Hunter, that is quite a name.I think to myself for no apparent reason.

Evelyn

"Hey." Hunter said. "So why did you guys come here?" I asked. "Me and Hunter came to hang here for a while." I told Dane.

Dane

"To drink of coarse." I say and laugh, Ember laughs and I kiss her cheek. "No I am just joking, we came here to dance and hang out." I say and smile.

Evelyn

"Okay, cool." I said andngot up. Hunter got up with me. "Well were going to go dance." I said. He is cute. I thought. I smiled at Dane and hold Hunters hand as we walked to the dance floor. We started dancing.

Dane

Ember and I start kissing after they walk off and we sit on the love seat in the back as we kiss.

I went in my room, changed, and instantly went to sleep on my bed.

Evelyn

I stop dancing with Hunter as I feel myself begin to cry. "I need to go, I had fun." I said and walked out the club. I sped down the street until I got home.

Dane

I see Alice walk out of the club and I pull away from Ember,"I will be right back." I say to her and then I go follow Alice. I walk up behind her and put my hand on her shoulder,calmly. "Are you alright?" I ask her and look her in the eyes.

Evelyn

"Yeah i'm fine. I had to lie to get out of there." I said and smiled. "I'm a good actress, aren't I?" I say. I continue to walk down the street. "I have school tomorrow, i'll see him in school anyway." I told him.

Dane

"That skill makes for a good con women." I say and walk next to her. "Would you like me to walk you home?" I ask and smile a little.

Evelyn

I look at him and smile. "Sure." I said.

Dane

I take her hand gently but also in a friendly way, I walk her home.

-Fortunata-
I ran, ran away from the darkness. It was consuming everything in its path. I felt myself choking, then coughing up blood. The darkness was right behind me...
I woke up with my face drenched in fear, and almost about to scream. I almost always had this nightmare. No one knew about it. I had a prediction, that soon there would be no light. My biggest fear is having to save the world and put myself at risk. I was also afraid of failing. My Mama and Papa would always soothe me, but they were not here anymore. Whoever created the nukes should go to H-E-double-hockey-sticks along with the person who launched them. I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't. I got some water from downstairs. Alexander was down there writing in his black book. When he noticed me, he slammed the book shut. I ignored Alexander and got my water.
I sat at a table and drank the water. Alexander waltzed over. "You look worn down. Bad dream?"
"So what?" I asked.
"Don't worry, I won't ask what is was about." Alexander walked away.
I may as well describe Alexander. He has black hair with a tint of violet in it. He has a hairstyle where he has long bangs that reach his chin, but the rest of his hair is in what girls would call a pixie cut. He is known as a bit of a goth, so he wears red, black and grey a lot. Today he was wearing faded and ripped light blue jeans with a red and black checkered shirt.

Evelyn

We get to my house and I turn to him. "Thanks." I said and hugged him then walked inside my house.

-Fortunata-
I noticed the sun coming up, so I went to my room, dressed in a blue pleated skirt and a white shirt with a red ribbon in a bow around the collar and put my hair into a low ponytail with a white ribbon tied in a fashion that looked like a bow tie. Alex went to his room and came back wearing black skinny jeans with a studded belt and a My Chemical Romance shirt.

Evelyn

I woke up the next morning and got dress. I did my hair and ate breakfast then grabbed my backpack from my bedroom. I walked out the house and to school.

I was driven to school with Alexander in a limousine by Sebastian. I walked out and into class early. Alexander had the same classes as me, to make things easier for me.

Desiree

I arrived at school and smiled at Evelyn. "Hey." I said and Candy walked up to us. We all started talking at Evelyn's locker when Hunter walked up. He started talking to us too.

I walked out to my locker and grabbed my books, and as usual, everyone stared and whispered.
Alex was talking to a few of his friends, and they walked over to me.
"You the new girl?" One asked.
"No crapola, Sherlock." As the boys stood speechless, I opened my locker and grabbed my books and writing utinsils. My pencils were mechanical, and the outside plastic was a different color for each one. My pens were all scented like cupcakes, and my highlighter would change colors. I had a notebook that had oranges on it, a watermelon decorated binder and folders that were strawberry printed.

Desiree

I notice the new girl and realized who it is. "Hey Fortunata, right?" I asked and smiled. "Its me Desiree, would you like to eat lunch with me and my friends?" I asked.

"Alright. I can sit by you guys today." I said. My witch mark was glowing softly.

Desiree

I smiled and my friends walked over. "This is Evelyn and Candy." I said. "Candy was my friend ever since pre-school and Evelyn I met a while ago." I said. "Hi nice to meet you." Evelyn said. "I love your scented pens." Candy said to her.
