Maci

I walked into the grocery store and bought what I needed. I walked up to my apartment, took the test, then ran back to the warehouse. I saw Collin on the couch, and I set the test on the coffee table. Positive. It was positive. I looked at him, tears glistening in my eyes, "You're going to hate me. Look at it."

Collin

I grab it and read it, "actually, no I don't." I say and toss it in the trash can from the couch, I watch TV as I smoke.

Maci

I started to cry, "I don't want a kid, Collin! I can't run, I can't do anything but sit around!" I hugged my knees to my chest and cried into my hands.

Collin

"Yeah, you can do things." I say and continue to smoke.

Maci

"All I know is be smart and be fast, okay Collin?" I said and looked up, "My father used to run the rooftops with some guy named General Cohan, and he told me to never, ever get pregnant unless I was married or I forgot my skills. So therefor, no, I can't do anything."

Collin

My heart sinks when she says General Cohan, my eyes water but I hold back the tears. "Y-you can still do things, a lot of things, you can still have a life, it will just be a little different." I choke out and I don't want to cry but I give in and start to cry. I grab my jacket, I run out of the house and run the roof tops as I cry.

Maci

I followed after him, and my stomach gurgled as I ran. I latched onto his back, "Collin! Stop!"

Collin

"What?" I ask as I cry and try to stop.

Maci

I drag my heels and it slows us down a little, "I can't run this fast, Collin!" I say and my grip slips. I tumble of the ground, and blacked out as I hit my head hard on the concrete roof.

Collin

I kneel down to her and shake her, "wake up!" I say and shake her again.

Maci

I jump awake and almost hit him in the face. "Sorry," I say and spit out some blood from my mouth.

Collin

"It's fine." I say and wipe away my tears.

Maci

"Collin, who was General Cohan?" I asked, "I've only met him once and I was seven at the time."

Collin

"My dad, my dad and mom died in a fire when I was twelve and Manny was a baby." I say and try not to cry again.

Maci

"Yeah, he said something about having a son that was five years older than me. I wish I could have gone to his funeral, but I had a ballet recidal," I say and clasp his hand in mine.

Collin

"I raised Manny." I say and start to think about the fun times Manny and I had when she was little.

Maci

"I had to raise my brother whenever my parents ditched us for Vegas," I said. I started to cry, "And he would still be here if I hadn't of yelled at him and pushed him into the river."

Collin

"Oh, I am sorry." I say and rub her back.

Maci

"I'm fine," I sya quietly and wipe away my tears.

Collin

I gently lay my hand on her stomach, "you'll like being a parent, it is quite fun and interesting." I say and smile a little.

Maci

I tensed up, "I'm scared. I'm no good with children."

Manny

I turned off my earpiece so no one can connect to me then I took off my jacket. I took my gloves off and shoes then I put them all behind a tree. I ran out the graveyard and quickly took my socks off. I ran up the wall on a building and started running on roofs, barefoot.

Collin

"You'll do fine, I promise." I say and kiss her on the cheek.

Maci

"And if I don't?" I say and looked at him worriedly.

Manny

I got back to the grave and put my shoes back on. I put my jacket on and gloves then ran off to Rowan's house. I knocked on his door and he let me in. I walked inside and started talking to him.
